Ramon Blake Guthrie shared thisThis is a recommended watch, there are a lot of great, insightful chats, no matter what your views are anti, pro, or just curious about AI.Ramon Blake Guthrie shared thisReinventing the Production Pipeline Join us as we sit down with Ryan Summers (Head of Creative Innovation, Sarofsky) to hear how his team used ComfyUI to completely rethink their production pipeline on a massive experiential job: a 5-minute, 9K deliverable that broke the classic "fast, good, cheap" triangle most productions get stuck in. We'll dig into how the pipeline came together, what changed creatively and technically, and what it means for studios tackling ambitious work under real-world constraints. If you're an advanced ComfyUI user looking to push your own practice further, this is a rare look at how a professional studio scaled ComfyUI into a real production pipeline. What we'll cover: — The story behind a 5-minute, 9K experiential deliverable — How ComfyUI reshaped Sarofsky's production pipeline — Pipeline and workflow decisions for scaling ComfyUI in production Drop your questions in chat and we'll put them to Ryan live.

Ramon Blake Guthrie shared this💡 If you are a 3D Artist and ComfyUI user, give Soojung Kwon PBR custom node a try!Ramon Blake Guthrie shared thisLet me introduce my ComfyUI custom node "PBR Master" that I've been working on for several months. Intuitive, Practical, Responsible. These three are the pillars of MicroCreativity and all of my creations. You don't need AI in every step. You don't need that many nodes either. The pack only has 16 nodes. However, it covers from base map generation to PBR map generation and even AI upscaling. Its Greyscale map and 3D viewer nodes have real-time preview, so that you don't need to rerun the entire workflow. It combines traditional image processing and AI processing. AI only for the base map generation and upscale. (Upscale runs locally) Free to download custom nodes at https://lnkd.in/en7knTRJ Workflow presets and advanced prompt editors are available on MicroCreativity Hub.

Ramon Blake Guthrie shared thisThanks to the Upscale Conf team, for hosting such an insightful London event, now I'm fully aware that a lot of people's timelines have been tainted by bad AI slop videos on X, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook and Bluesky Social and even though I have been in the AI space for over 3 years now, I was surprised by the talented use AI models to produce new forms of storytelling at a high quality by one person, if I knew in advance how great this was going to be I would brought along more people in the creative and motion image space. I would strongly recommend trying to find a stream for Upscale Day London Event.💡 Special thanks to Ikenna Mokwe ⭐️ , Faye Garland, Neill Torbit, Max Winston, 🌟Rourke Sefton-Minns, Joaquin Cuenca Abela and FreepikRamon Blake Guthrie shared thisUpscale Day London brought together a room that felt both grounded and open A curated group of creatives, brand leaders, and agency teams, all asking the same question in different ways: how do we move forward without losing the craft? From the very start, the energy was there. Curious, sharp, and open. The kind of room where conversations don’t stay on stage, but spill into every corner Across workflows, production, and the realities of scaling creative work, there was honesty about what’s working. Openness about what’s still unclear. And a shared sense that we’re all figuring this out together This is the kind of space the industry needs right now To everyone who joined us and helped shape the room, thank you. Ramon Blake Guthrie shared this💡 It's definitely a Deepseek-R1 level moment for Image generation. Z-Image-Turbo is hands down the best most accessible and runnable, lightweight image generation model (Systems with only 8GB vram), running at only 6B parameters, which is half the size of Flux.1 Dev 12B parameters model with far more superior quality and prompt understanding. This model can even run on most current Macs. 🧬 Because of this models low requirements even training LoRA models locally is possible, if you're only just starting out in AI image generation or training LoRAs this model is an east choice. Thanks to the teams at Tongyi Lab & Alibaba Group #AI #ZImageRamon Blake Guthrie shared this📢 We are pleased to introduce Z-Image, an efficient 6-billion-parameter foundation model for image generation. Through systematic optimization, it proves that top-tier performance is achievable without relying on enormous model sizes, delivering strong results in photorealistic generation and bilingual text rendering that are comparable to leading commercial models. We are publicly releasing two specialized models on Z-Image: Z-Image-Turbo for generation and Z-Image-Edit for editing. The model code, weights, and an online demo are now publicly available to encourage community exploration and use. With this release, we aim to promote the development of generative models that are accessible, low-cost, and high-performance. 📌 GitHub: https://lnkd.in/gKRZzX5B 📌 ModelScope: https://lnkd.in/gcR6RrVu 📌 HuggingFace: https://lnkd.in/gRjSSH9j 📌 Z-Image gallery: https://lnkd.in/gGYxE9Z4Introducing Z-Image Image Generation Model: 6B, Top-Teir Performance, and Open-SourceIntroducing Z-Image Image Generation Model: 6B, Top-Teir Performance, and Open-SourceTongyi Lab

Ramon Blake Guthrie liked thisRamon Blake Guthrie liked thisThe Prime Minister, Andy Burnham, today asked me to attend Cabinet as Minister for AI, a sign of his deep commitment to AI's importance. AI is likely the most significant technology in human history. Its impact will dwarf other things. The best case for it is compelling beyond our dreams: a reindustrialised Britain, stronger national security, public services transformed for the better. The risks, too, are real: it is right that the British public shares those worries, for jobs, for the pace of change. The central fact is that it is happening. Nations have a narrow window to decide whether they shape AI or get shaped by it. Britain is in that window right now. While that window is still open, I will act with pace, I will act with ambition, and I will focus relentlessly on securing British influence in shaping AI. I will also bring to this job the place I represent - a constituency in Wales, a nation with industry and ambition at its heart, a proud history of punching above its weight on the global stage. A nation which welcomed a 12-year old and his family, gave us the best chance at opportunity, put me in Parliament as Wales' first ethnic minority MP, and now affords me the chance to make a mark in Cabinet. Diolch o galon to everyone in the Vale of Glamorgan. https://lnkd.in/eeb-G36yBurnham Picks Narayan as First UK AI Minister to Attend CabinetBurnham Picks Narayan as First UK AI Minister to Attend Cabinet

Ramon Blake Guthrie liked thisRamon Blake Guthrie liked thisOne of our community developers messaged us to say all his GPUs had died. So we sent him a new one. Ostris, LLC builds training tools for pretty much every architecture that matters. If you've trained a LoRA, you've probably used something he made. He releases them free and keeps them working as the whole field shifts underneath him. When his GPUs died, that was his entire operation going dark. He didn't ask us for anything. We got him a top-of-the-line card and shipped it out. He posted a photo when it arrived, and the replies filled up fast. Developers and artists who've leaned on his work for years, calling him one of the good ones and telling him it was long overdue. This is the part of ComfyUI that matters most to us. People like Ostris built the layer the rest of us stand on, most of it free, most of it thankless. When one of them needs something, we're going to be there. He's back. Go see what he ships.
