Victor Peng, Pete Shadbolt, and I kicked off a busy week in Chicago with a visit to Affordable Welding Iron Works, which supplied hundreds of tons of structural steel for PsiQuantum's building at the Illinois Quantum and Microelectronics Park. We also joined a roundtable in South Chicago with inspiring local leaders to talk about how we can work together even more closely to deliver meaningful opportunities across the communities that surround the Park. There is no substitute for seeing this kind of work and hearing perspectives from the local area. It's hard to believe that two years have passed since our company first announced that we would become the anchor tenant at the IQMP. But thanks to hard work and close partnerships across the State of Illinois, together we're bringing the promise of quantum technology closer than ever.

Today, PsiQuantum announced a series of philanthropic investments across local schools, higher education institutions, and STEM programs to advance the next generation of scientists, engineers, and quantum innovators in South Chicago. Ten years in, and a big week ahead.

Today marks an exciting new chapter for PsiQuantum’s team and mission as we drive the future of computing. Victor Peng has been named Chief Executive Officer following his interim appointment in February. PsiQuantum is also welcoming Robert Soderbery as Executive Vice President and Sriram Sitaraman as Chief Information Officer. Together with our entire workforce, these leaders will help scale our company's engineering, technology, and operational capabilities as we build the world’s first utility-scale quantum computers and further advance our state-of-the-art silicon photonics platform.
