Climate change is becoming more tangible. But how are people responding as other pressures compete for their attention? 7 in 10 expect more extreme weather events in 2026 than in 2025, and 6 in 10 are concerned about heatwaves, droughts and water scarcity in their region over the next 12 months. Yet priorities are competing. 53% agree their government should prioritise keeping energy prices low, even if greenhouse gas emissions rise. The picture is complex: people aren’t ignoring climate change, they’re making trade-offs. 📩 Want to explore the data behind these shifting attitudes?
