Proud to see our customer Magma Math US win 3 awards at Bett UK 2026. 🤩 Wins like this push us to keep building the best handwriting intelligence platform for developers shaping the future of education.
About us
MyScript is the global leader in handwriting intelligence. For over 25 years, we’ve pioneered AI technology that goes beyond recognition — understanding what people write naturally, in apps loved by millions and devices built by the world’s leading brands. Our handwriting technology blends human input with advanced neural networks, creating a natural connection between how people think and how digital devices understand. It goes far beyond recognition — enabling fluid, intuitive interactions that turn handwriting into powerful digital content. We serve both sides of the handwriting market: • For developers and OEMs — Our platform-agnostic SDK runs on-device and delivers advanced handwriting recognition and interactivity that’s easy to integrate and ready to scale, supporting over 70 languages. • For end users — Our flagship apps, MyScript Notes and MyScript Math, offer a natural, powerful experience that helps students and professionals think and work more freely with their pen. Our solutions power experiences where natural input truly matters — across education, enterprise, mobility, and automotive. Through innovations like multilingual understanding and handwriting generation, we’re redefining what digital ink can do. We’re an international team united by a simple belief: handwriting is the most natural interface — and we’re on a mission to make people love using their pen. ✏️✨

Still time to meet with Etienne Dauphin and Bertrand Gourraud in London.
Day 1, the show opened at full speed — so many people, especially during the first hours! It’s inspiring to see entire classes and even very young students discovering the tools shaping the classrooms of today and tomorrow. One thing that stands out this year: handwriting is making a strong comeback. Many exhibitors are presenting solutions that use writing and digitalization to better support teachers. That said, an important point to keep in mind — when handwriting data from students is used to train large language models, there’s a real need for awareness around data protection and ethical AI practices. And finally… a special mention for the Magma Maths UK costumes — they definitely brought smiles all day long! #BETT2026 #EdTech

Cursive is back in the spotlight: New Jersey just made it mandatory again in grades 3-5, and opinions are divided. How do you feel about bringing #cursive back to school? https://lnkd.in/evNtzPUV

Last month, we added Chinese text to handwriting to our SDK. ✍️🇨🇳 The hardest part wasn’t stroke order, it was avoiding the “perfect font” look and keeping natural variation from character to character. Read the full story: https://myscri.pt/yxRa2k

MyScript reposted this
Meet Us at BETT & ISE: Discover What’s New from MyScript Bertrand Gourraud and I will be in London next week for #BETTuk2026 and in Barcelona in early February for Integrated Systems Europe (ISE), where we’ll be showcasing MyScript’s 2025 breakthroughs. Last year brought major advances in automatic classification, math capabilities, multilingual recognition, and handwriting generation — and we’re excited to show how these innovations can power smoother, more intuitive digital ink experiences. If you’re attending BETT or ISE and want to explore what’s new and what’s coming next, let’s meet! 👉 Reach out to schedule a conversation. Looking forward to seeing many of you there!

✨ 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐤-𝐭𝐨-𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐢𝐬𝐧’𝐭 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐚𝐠𝐬, 𝐢𝐭’𝐬 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞. Students and teachers are filling their toolkits with pens, notebooks, and increasingly, tablets. The real challenge is not making these tools coexist, but making them collaborate. ✍ 𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐰𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧. It strengthens memory, comprehension, and creativity. Yet its potential is often stuck on paper. That’s where we at MyScript® come in. Our handwriting recognition technology already powers well-known apps like Nebo and Notability, as well as education platforms like IXL Learning. For EdTech product teams, this means: ✅𝐒𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 – Add handwriting input without disrupting the user experience. ✅𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 – Let students and teachers focus on learning, not typing. ✅𝐋𝐨𝐧𝐠-𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐦 𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐱𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 – Support both paper-based and digital workflows in a single solution. 🔎 Imagine a student solving an equation in IXL, a teacher annotating homework in Notability, or a researcher taking notes in Nebo. With handwriting instantly transformed into 𝘴𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦, 𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘵𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 content, learning flows naturally across formats. 💡 This back-to-school season, it’s not only about digitizing education. It’s about humanizing technology. 👉 How are you balancing tradition and innovation in your EdTech products? Let’s share ideas in the comments.
