Nuestra misión

Mission statement (10-25 words): A short, clear summary of the mission’s purpose, value to the host country(ies), location, and the people it serves. Eg. UNMISSION is helping Freedonia restore peace and security in the wake of its civil war.

Introductory Paragraph(s) (100-125 words): These paragraphs should elaborate on the mission statement. They should briefly outline why the mission was founded, conveying the urgency and scope the challenge the mission was tasked with solving, as well as the impact the mission is having so far, and what remains to be done.

Eg.

In 2013, armed clashes broke out in Freedonia’s north, which quickly spread. The conflict took the lives of thousands of Freedonians and displaced millions more. In 2015, the UN Security Council established UNMISSION to help Freedonia bring an end to the violence.

Since its founding UNMISSION has supported the Government of Freedonia’s efforts to reach a peace agreement with armed groups. In 2016, with technical and political support from UNMISSION, a deal was reached, helping to reduce violence across the country. Now, UNEXAMPLE is providing support to the Government as it implements that agreement. It is working to protect civilians, promote human rights, and build the foundations needed for lasting peace.
