Launch of a consultation on intercultural living together in the workplace
Within the framework of the implementation of the law of 23 August 2023 on intercultural living together, the Ministry of Family Affairs, Solidarity, Living Together and Reception of Refugees, in collaboration with IMS Luxembourg, is launching a consultation on intercultural living together aimed at companies.
This initiative aims to gain a better understanding of how intercultural living together is perceived and practiced in the professional world, particularly among cross-border workers, an emerging group in the context of the intercultural living together policy.
Through an online questionnaire open to all companies and their employees, as well as qualitative interviews conducted with organizations of various sizes and from various sectors, this consultation will enable to:
- collect data on companies' interest and practices in terms of living together,
- identify existing good practices,
- identify the expectations and needs of employers and employees,
- and contribute to the creation of a national platform dedicated to intercultural living together in the workplace.
This participatory approach marks an essential step towards promoting an inclusive, open and supportive professional environment that reflects Luxembourg's diversity.
