Manx.net – A New Chapter
Manx Telecom has subsidised Manx.net for over 25 years. Email services now require specialist management and strong protection against rising security risks. Junara already provides the platform behind Manx.net and has now taken full responsibility for service and support. This ensures continuity for customers while allowing Manx Telecom to focus on the Island’s connectivity future.
Important update: accounts are now suspended
As of Wednesday 21 January 2026, Manx.net email accounts that were not registered and paid for with Junara are suspended.
If your account is suspended, your email address and data have not been deleted. Your account can still be reactivated during the grace period by contacting Junara and completing registration and payment.
What you can do now
You can still keep your @manx.net email address by reactivating your account with Junara during the grace period.

Subscription start date
- Subscriptions commenced on Wednesday 21 January 2026
Once reactivated, Junara will provide ongoing service and support for your email account.
If you do not reactivate
- From Wed 21 January 2026, your account is suspended
- Grace period ends: Mon 20 April 2026, accounts can still be reactivated up to this date
- Permanent deletion: Tue 21 April 2026, accounts not reactivated by this date will be permanently deleted

- Junara provides technical and billing support once you register or reactivate your account

- Wed 21 Jan 2026 – Suspension begins for unregistered or unpaid accounts; subscriptions commence

Data protection and portability
As explained in our Privacy Policy , you have the right to receive certain personal data you provided to Manx Telecom through the Manx.net service, or to have it transmitted to another provider, in each case in a structured, commonly used, machine readable format. Both rights are subject to applicable data protection law.
If you exercise either right, we will provide a User Guide to support the porting of your data.
