The 91st Transatlantic Legislators Dialogue interparliamentary meeting will be held on 19-20 June in Nicosia, Cyprus. Amidst an evolving transatlantic partnership, Members of the European Parliament and Members of the US Congress will come together to discuss the most pertinent issues and challenges facing both sides.

'A transatlantic partnership for stability and peace' was the theme of the meeting of the Delegation for relations with the US of 20 May 2026. The guest speaker, Profs. Daniel Fiott, who heads theo Defence, Investment and Innovation programme at the Centre for Security, Diplomacy and Strategy (Vrije Universiteit Brussel) shared his take on the current US administration's stand vis-à-vis its role in European security and underlined the need for European unity and coherence.

The Chair of the Delegation for relations with the US (D-US) together with the Committee on Foreign Affairs' Standing Rapporteur on EU-US relations travelled to Washington D.C. on 18 March for a two-day visit.
