Meeting of the D-CL delegation, 20 May 2026, Strasbourg
A meeting of the Delegation to the EU-Chile Joint Parliamentary Committee (D-CL) took place on 20 May 2026 in Strasbourg.
The following topics were debated:
- The new Government in Chile: first measures adopted;
- The Advanced Framework Agreement EU-Chile one year on: state of implementation of the Agreement;
- Cooperation EU-Chile in the field of security and fight against organised crime.
The 29th meeting of the EU-Chile Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) was held on 9 July 2025 in Strasbourg.
The 28th meeting of the Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) EU-Chile took place from 17 to 19 March 2025 in Santiago de Chile and Valparaiso.
Stefano Cavedagna taking office as newly elected Chair of the Delegation to the EU-Chile Joint Parliamentary Committee on 3 October 2024.
In order to facilitate a swift start into the new legislative term, the Parliament has prepared for the new Members a series of brochures providing a detailed information on the EP's role in the external policies of the EU as well as the work of standing inter-parliamentary standing delegations.
